It's been a while ...

hey! sorry i’ve been absent from the Indievisual scene, but the last two weeks of my life have been a bit catastrophic so i wasn’t really in the mood for drawing or anything else, i sort of hibernated half my days away anyways…

but just because i wasn’t drawing doesn’t mean i wasn’t thinking about the Indievisual challenge, cos i’m not a quitter!! so every day i wrote down what i did so that when i got my groove back, i’d be able to draw all my days just as they happened. =)

So i’m feeling a lot better now and ready to draw! I have currently caught up 6 days!! but am still a horrible huge 8 days short. but i will be drawing more tonight and all through sunday, so hopefully by monday i’ll be up to speed and on the same day as you guys! =)

can’t wait to see what you guys have been up to these last few weeks, i have loads to catch up on here!!!

Day #17: lazy days

Day #16: Roller derby, band stuff and phone calls!

Sorry i didn’t upload the pic last night, but went to the movies to see “whip it!” (it’s awesome btw). and it wtarted late so the film finished at one in the morning so i was way nackered when i got home and all i could think was SLEEP!!!!

Day #15: Blood blood blood

Day #14: Band rehersals and kitty kats

Uploaded yesterdays pic today as promised. I didn't get to go out to the party last night as planned but was too tired after rehersals yesterday to draw anything decent so thought why not do it late and better =)

Day #12: Monkey Jim jams and many songs

Today i had to reply to a load of emails and work on a whole bunch of songs. was fun =) got to translate my friend anna's song into english =).

I'm working on two new songs for Soso a girl in my band. it's hard work though so they're taking a while.

and i'm wearing my lick ass snow boots everywhere ever since i found out they keep my feet super warm =) hehe

and my best friend lod sent me the best xmas pressie ever!!! the coolest monkey pjs!!! =) so thanks hun =)

Day #10 (for real this time):

Sorry that my last pic was so crap (black square on paint is not very creative after all) but i had a really really terrible day on Sunday. I had this huge argument with a member of my family and that just ruined my day and made me feel crap and useless (well that's what they said i was...) so i didn't feel much like drawing on sunday and monday.


but i feel much better today so i'm uploading a proper pic instead of that crap one for sunday and will soon have my Day #11 up too, and tonight i'll have todays one up as usual.


So don't worry i'm not quiting just yet!

Day #10:

it's always great to find out everyone thinks your shit and that no one has your back. Nothing sucks more than obese relatives. i'm just going to withdraw myself from this situation by extreme mesures

Day #9: Snow snow snow

Fab day today!! Snow makes my world go round!! had an awesome walk about in it!!! Finally got the scanner working so now you can check out my pic of the day up close!!! guess what the theme is? =)

DAY #8: Pretty uneventful day

woooo! Funny sentence friday!! this fridays funny sentence is "HE GIVES ME THE HEEBEEJEEBEES!!!!!" hehe. it's not addressed to anyone specific never you fear lol. it's just funny. and it's RECYCLED!! (big fat uni work envelope, knew uni had a reason for something!lol)

my days are getting pretty uneventful so i really need to get my act together! i have to learn my text for my play, the songs for the opera, prepare admission for fancy schools next year if they'll take me, do some music and of course there's always uni work. and there's still that film project business...

i just need to get my act together and get out of this funk of doing-nothing-ness. it's getting old! so fingers crossed for some good old change and some more exciting (and maybe more extencive drawings)!

DAY #7: birthdays, hair and TV shows

Hey guys,

wooo one week already! hopefully we'll all get through the second one! =) i can feel our little indieVISUAL community growing and it's awesome!

Today was my mom's birthday so i spent my draw wrapping presents and eating mostly (suprisingly no food in my pic!). and i watched a hell of a lot of TV shows! i'm loving "Trauma" and am so happy to be finally watching "Stargate Universe"!

I've got a little bit of a recycling trend going on though cos today i used some used wrapping paper for my pic of the day! but i think i'll stick to drawing with permanent marker until i can scan my pics!

Day #6: Old friend and TV shows

been watching the TV show "V", it's kickass! so i let it dominate my pic of the day! appart from that i've been working on Uni work and debating on whether or not to join a film crew this year and lose all my weekends... it's a tough one!

Day #4: Crazy Shopping!!

Crazy day today! so tired!! nearly didn't draw or post it up !!! but did a quick lil' drawing cos i don't want to quick just yet.

Had a fab day out shopping with a friend, went tie hunting! and if you're wondering about the whole naked lady thing with a demon on her, its cos we visited a museum in town and one of the sculptures there was a demon molesting a naked lady. i'm pretty much scarred for life!

went shopping for my moms birthday presents, and found a handy 2€ shop, they are awesome!! can't say what i bought though cos then she might find out!

the Q thing is a fast food i dont like, but i ate there for lunch today and i actually liked it and was suprised. Now my McDonalds loving is in doubt.

i bumped into other people i know. katie is in the top right, but i didn't draw her quite well. she's really pretty in real life. and the lil' black drawing is a tatoo kate (different from katie) got this year (i bumped into her too).

Day #3: Studio Madness!

Crazy day today!!! and super long! I was in the studio all day with my band the Runnings Cats (www.myspace.com/runningcatcompany)! was awesome! so lots to draw! =)

Today seeing as the mood is better i'll explain my picture a little bit!

The guy in the top left of the picture is my new Germenglish friend, Tim. I met him at the new years party i went to. So i saw him again today at church and tomorow we're hitting the streets of Toulouse! woop woop. So yeah i thought i'd add him in!

In the top right of the pic, the big grey thing is the mic i sang in today at the studio! was great fun!! i arrived at 15h00, was supposed to record my 3 songs there and then but as usual there was a bit of a mix up and i only got to record at half past seven =). lol it was crazy!

The big Spiderman face is because i did a cover of the spiderman theme tune and had never sang it entirely before so i just through myself in and completely let go and the reslut was AMAZING! Nico (the band leader/manager/pianist/etc) said he felt like he was discovering my voice all over again so that was cool! And that i'd given him inspiration for our big show in September!

Anyhow our one shot studio day went brilliantly! and we'll have the new youtube channel will all these great covers up by the end of January! Our present youtube is http://www.youtube.com/user/runningcatcompany so go take a peek at our present videos and original material =)

There's a drawing of my friend Anna recoding in my pic aswell. i got to film her during her cover of Norah Jones "turn me on". She has an awesome voice. There's also a little peek of two other of my band members together, cos they would just not stop flirting today, i don't what was up with them. so yeah i just drew it, these sheets of paper don't fill themselves up by themselves! lol.

The big hairy dude in the middle of my pic is Mr Jean, the guy that owns the studio and who mixes all our stuff. he's awesome!! =) the big yellow thing is the new studio couch!!! the last sofa was really awesome but super old so your bum woud hurt cos of the metal frame, but this new one is really comfy and fab! and real pretty!

the face in the green box is me. there was a pic of me in the studio that i had never seen before so that was kinda odd going "hey who's that? oh it's me! its me?". we had a good laugh about it anyhow!

there's a planet and a yellow thingy in this pic cos i've been watching way too much "defying gravity" lol. awesome sci fi show! i heart big time!

and the mouth at the bottom of the pic is mine cos i have these two huge awfull spots on my chin and arghhhhh! so yeah i drew it.

and my eyes cos i'm trying to see what ill be doing this year. it's complicated

DAY # 2: Life Kinda sucked today

had a crappy day so don't feel like saying much. except the yellow eye is because some guy with amazing eyes asked me for directions today and that kinda made up for everything else being crap today (family driving me round the bend, bus dropping me off at the wrong palce, everything being closed, hole in my trousers, extra person in my room, etc).

DAY #1 : The Drawing begins

Hey Everybody! and Happy New Year!! Hope you're all doing well!! anyhow it's the first day of the challenge! and i am glad to say i did not forget however i just realised it's nearly half past midnight... ooops. but i did the drawing before midnight so it still counts! =) i'll try doing tomorows earlier!

There's rain on my picture cos that's how i started my new year, outside in the rain! It was awesome. I went for a walk with Melanie, Julian and Tim in the local park, so that's why there are a couple of trees.

The huge long colourful thing is my Doctor who scarf. I did a little work on it today so i thought i'd add it, cos it's awesome hehe. The colours on it are completely wrong though, buti couldn't be bothered to go upstairs and get it to draw it accurately. Three cheers to lazyness!!!

You can see Ireland with loads of arrows pointed towards Northern Ireland cos Brian was over for tea today. And i'm so hoping i can get a summer job in Belfast this year. would be awesome!!!

There's a wii car wheel thingy cos i had a go at mario cart racing while i was at the Williams, before watching Doctor Who! And speak of the devil, on my pic there's David tennant waving Goodbye. ahhhh i'm gonna miss him. That big blue thing next to his face is a tear by the way.

And the yello door saying "i don't love you" is lucy cos i didn't go watch doctor who at her house and that's what she said.
